The installation is carried out by a standard installation wizard. The wizard
prompts you for information, copies the program files and sets up the
client.
If you are upgrading a previous installation of SSH Tectia Client, please
see Section Upgrading the Installation first.
To install SSH Tectia Client, do the following:
Locate the installation file TectiaClient-<version>.msi,
either on the installation CD or in the download directory, depending on
if you purchased SSH Tectia Client on CD or downloaded it. Double-click the
installation file to start the installation wizard.
Follow the wizard through the installation steps and fill in
information as requested.
When the installation has finished, click Finish to exit the wizard.
The default installation directory is C:\Program Files\SSH Communications Security\SSH Secure Shell located on your system
partition (typically the C drive).
The installation also creates a new program group in the Start ->
Programs menu. The default name for this program group is
SSH Tectia Client.
